There are two important flaws to remember regarding Account structures:
- When you share the Chart of account across companies, Main accounts and Dimensions will appear in drop-downs even if they are deactivated.
- There is no way to restrict selection of Dimension values on a master file record (i.e. Customer, Vendor, Project, Item, Employee, Order, etc).
